Overview

The Room Attendant maintains clean, attractive guestrooms and provides courteous, attentive service to all guests.

Responsibilities

1. Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
2. Complete pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen setup for housekeeping carts.
3. Remove trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
4. Keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean and vacuumed.
5. Restock housekeeping carts for the next day.
6. Replenish chemical bottles.
7. Report missing items (e.g., irons, hair dryers) to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
8. Report maintenance issues immediately.
9. Handle Lost and Found items per standards.
10. Ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or hotel-related experience preferred.
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand throughout the shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, courteous and service-oriented.
