The hourly rate for this opportunity is $18 an hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and supply all assigned guest rooms or other guest areas according to departmental procedure and standards to exceed guest satisfaction.
- Report damages, mechanical deficiencies, and suspicious activities.
- Be on time and in uniform; record accurate hours.
- Maintain the ability to multitask and have adequate communication skills.
- Anticipate guest expectations.
- Clean guest rooms as assigned, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Change and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest amenities as needed.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed or as assigned.
- Stock, maintain, and transport housekeeping supply cart daily.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables.
- Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Demonstrate teamwork responsiveness when asked to do any task consistent with Marriott standards.
- Be organized with great attention to detail.
- Follow all safety practices within the role and Lost & Found procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to interact with all associates and guests of the hotel.
- 6 months experience in a similar role.
Physical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly.
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
- Finger dexterity required to operate a computer keyboard, calculator, and other office/IT equipment.
