Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking a dedicated room attendant to maintain clean, comfortable guest rooms and public areas in our Dallas property. You will follow established cleaning procedures, restock amenities, and ensure rooms meet high standards of cleanliness for every guest stay.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 lbs for linens and up to 100 lbs for equipment, and a collaborative approach to supporting fellow team members in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Scrub and scour surfaces; extend arms overhead and work in confined spaces.
• Willing to pitch in and help coworkers as needed.
• Knowledge of cleaning agents and operation of cleaning equipment.
• Able to push/pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs (with/without accommodation).
• Effective verbal and written communication; adapt style to audience.
• Comfortable adjusting communication style for supervisors, coworkers, and guests.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathtubs, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters and floors.
• Follow cleaning procedures and use cleaning agents as instructed.
• Strip beds and change linens (up to 50 lbs).
• Dust furniture, pictures, ledges, and shelves.
• Vacuum rooms and empty trash; restock amenities and supplies.
• Sign for room keys, retrieve and restock heavy cart items; visually inspect room for cleanliness.

NoOverviewMaintain the hotel rooms and building to ensure safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates, and vendors.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesClean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending, and stooping.Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.Strip beds and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.Push and pull vacuum throughout the entire room and empty trash.Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart.
