Job summary

The Stoneleigh, a landmark hotel in Dallas, is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a safe and clean environment for guests, associates, and vendors. This role supports the hotel's ongoing renovation and dynamic culinary program with Lions Den and Bar Leonessa.

Candidates should have hotel experience, strong guest communication skills, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks with a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean sinks, toilets, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls and floors to standard.
• Dust furniture, pictures, and shelves; reach high areas as needed.
• Polish metal surfaces and empty trash.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned.

The Stoneleigh has recently completed a $20.0M renovation, and has relaunched as part of Marriott's prestigious Autograph Collection. All 176 rooms and public areas have been renovated, including our restaurant, Lions Den, and our bar, Bar Leonessa. Lions Den is the new home of the next restaurant from awarding-winning chef, Chef Michael White. Overview

Maintain the building to ensure safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates, and vendors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls, stalls, vents and/or floors with cleaning agents by extending arms over head to reach all above areas. Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.


• Thoroughly dust all furniture, pictures, and shelves, extending arms over head, bending, and stooping as needed.


• Thoroughly clean and polish all metal surfaces, applying pressure in repeated motion.


• Clean ashtrays and empty trash.


• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.


• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

• Can communicate well with guests.


• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy equipment, and stand for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodations.
