Job summary

The Stoneleigh, a premier hotel in Uptown Dallas, is seeking a dedicated hospitality teammate to join our housekeeping team. You will maintain cleanliness and order in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests and colleagues.

Required qualities include reliability, a professional appearance, strong communication with guests, and the physical ability to lift and stand for extended periods. Hotel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean sinks, toilets, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls, stalls, vents and floors.
• Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
• Thoroughly dust furniture, pictures and shelves.
• Polish all metal surfaces with appropriate pressure.
• Clean ashtrays and empty trash.
• Commit to regular attendance and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Located in the middle of the most prestigious part of Uptown Dallas, The Stoneleigh is a storied landmark with a rich and alluring legacy. The Stoneleigh has recently completed a $20.0M renovation, and has relaunched as part of Marriott's prestigious Autograph Collection. All 176 rooms and public areas have been renovated, including our restaurant, Lions Den, and our bar, Bar Leonessa. Lions Den is the new home of the next restaurant from awarding-winning chef, Chef Michael White. Chef Michael White has many culinary accolades including the James Beard award; 5 simultaneous Michelin stars; and multiple New York Times 3-star and 4-star reviews. Chef Michael White’s concepts at The Stoneleigh include, the Lions Den, where each dish is composed with care, weaving together seasonal ingredients, global inspiration, and a distinctly Dallas spirit. Lions Den will be opening on May 1st, 2026.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls, stalls, vents and/or floors with cleaning agents by extending arms over head to reach all above areas.
• Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
• Thoroughly dust all furniture, pictures, and shelves, extending arms over head, bending, and stooping as needed.
• Thoroughly clean and polish all metal surfaces, applying pressure in repeated motion.
• Clean ashtrays and empty trash.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
