Room Attendants are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of hotel and guest rooms and providing guests with quality service in a timely and friendly manner. They represent the hotel to all guests and complete daily duties and assigned projects following the principles, policies, and standards of Hulsing Hotels.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Have detailed knowledge of and comply with all housekeeping policies, procedures, and standards.
2. Remove and replace bed linen daily for checked-out rooms; remake and replace linen for stayover guests.
3. Clean rooms thoroughly, including sweeping, vacuuming, and spot cleaning carpets as needed.
4. Dust all furniture and other elements of the room, including picture frames, headboards, lamps, TV and console, dresser, desk, air vents, windowsills, chair, closet area, and mirrors.
5. Ensure the room is left in a condition that passes inspection after cleaning.
6. Immediately report any items left behind by guests to the housekeeping manager.
7. Inform the Executive Housekeeper or Room Inspector of any damages or unusual findings in the room.
8. Maintain professionalism, helpfulness, and friendliness in all guest interactions.
9. Ensure a clean and professional appearance, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
11. High School Diploma or at least one (1) year of experience as a room attendant or related field.
12. Previous hotel-related or customer service experience preferred.
13. Be team-oriented, empathetic, friendly, and proactive.
14. Be well-organized and able to prioritize tasks.
