Job summary

White Lodging is seeking a Sundeck Social Bartender for Hotel Trinity in downtown Austin, a late-2026 opening as the Marriott Autograph Collection. You will deliver high-quality bar service, build guest connections, and maintain a clean, efficient station.

Applicants should have bartending experience; training is provided if needed. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts are required, with competitive benefits and growth opportunities at a luxury hotel and rooftop venue.

Qualifications

• Outgoing personality with genuine hospitality
• Strong attention to detail from drink presentation to guest satisfaction
• Positive, team-player mindset and can-do attitude
• Bartending experience preferred in hotel/restaurant/rooftop bars; training provided if needed
• Knowledge of drinks, recipes, mixology techniques, and responsible service
• Ability to stand and move quickly; flexible for evenings, weekends, holidays
• Food Handler and TABC certifications required

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality bar service to guests with friendly conversation and welcoming atmosphere
• Maintain a clean, organized bar station and complete daily cleaning per health standards
• Demonstrate knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, ingredients, prep methods, garnishes; answer guest questions
• Ensure consistent food and beverage quality and presentation
• Process payments (cash, card, digital) and reconcile end-of-shift
• Promote teamwork and a safe, positive work environment
• Card guests and monitor responsible alcohol service per liquor laws
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You'll Do

• Deliver high-quality bar service to all guests - building personal connections through friendly conversation, intuitive drink recommendations, and a welcoming atmosphere
• Maintain a clean, organized bar station; complete daily bar cleaning and side work to health and safety standards
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of the full cocktail menu, beer and wine selections, ingredients, preparation methods, and garnishes - confidently answering guest questions
• Ensure consistent food and beverage quality and presentation that meets guest expectations every time
• Accurately process all payment methods - cash, card, and digital - and complete end-of-shift reconciliation
• Promote teamwork and contribute to a safe, positive work environment
• Card all guests and monitor responsible alcohol service to prevent overservice and ensure liquor law compliance
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Lunch and Dinner shifts available.

What You'll Bring

• An outgoing, social personality with a genuine passion for hospitality and guest service
• Sharp attention to detail - from cocktail presentation to guest satisfaction
• A positive, can-do attitude and team-player mindset
• Previous bartending experience preferred - hotel, restaurant, or rooftop bar backgrounds a plus; willing to train the right candidate
• Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and responsible alcohol service practices
• Ability to stand and move at a fast pace for extended periods; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Food Handler and TABC Certifications Required
