Job summary

White Lodging is seeking experienced bartenders to join the opening and ongoing operations of The Yacht Club in Austin. You will deliver exceptional bar service, showcase mixology skills, and maintain a clean, high-energy bar environment.

The role requires knowledge of cocktails, wine, and beer, plus a friendly, guest-centric approach. Flexibility for lunch and dinner shifts, with opportunities for growth across properties in your market.

Qualifications

• Outgoing, social hospitality personality focused on guest service.
• Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and responsible alcohol service.
• Sharp attention to detail in cocktail presentation and guest satisfaction.
• Positive, can-do attitude and strong team player mindset.
• Previous bartending experience preferred (hotel, restaurant, rooftop bar a plus).
• Stand and move at a fast pace; able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Handler and TABC Certifications Required

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality bar service to all guests, building connections through conversation and recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar station and complete daily cleaning to safety standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cocktail menu, beer, wine, ingredients, and garnishes; answer guest questions.
• Ensure food and beverage quality and presentation meet guest expectations.
• Process payments (cash, card, digital) and reconcile end-of-shift.
• Promote teamwork and contribute to a safe, positive work environment.
• Monitor responsible service and liquor law compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Lunch and Dinner shifts available.

We are seeking experienced restaurant bartenders to be a part of the opening and ongoing operations of The Yacht Club. This is a rare opportunity to open a fine-dining restaurant from the ground up —at one of Austin's most exciting new hospitality concepts.

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do

• Deliver high-quality bar service to all guests — building personal connections through friendly conversation, intuitive drink recommendations, and a welcoming atmosphere
• Maintain a clean, organized bar station; complete daily bar cleaning and side work to health and safety standards
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of the full cocktail menu, beer and wine selections, ingredients, preparation methods, and garnishes — confidently answering guest questions
• Ensure consistent food and beverage quality and presentation that meets guest expectations every time
• Accurately process all payment methods — cash, card, and digital — and complete end-of-shift reconciliation
• Promote teamwork and contribute to a safe, positive work environment
• Card all guests and monitor responsible alcohol service to prevent overservice and ensure liquor law compliance
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Lunch and Dinner shifts available.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to stand and move at a fast pace for extended periods; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Food Handler and TABC Certifications Required
