Job summary

ION Solar is seeking a skilled Installer in Franklin, MA to assemble, install, and maintain residential PV systems. Work includes rooftop installations, wiring, and ensuring weather-tight connections, with a focus on safety and quality.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in solar, roofing, or construction. Training in Field Pro, Salesforce, and Paycom is beneficial; teamwork and physical capability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational or technical school training preferred.
• Experience in solar, roofing, or construction preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of PV equipment and installation.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical wiring and equipment.
• Ability to read building plans and equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and installs solar panels on roofs.
• Configures PV systems based on site conditions and customers needs and expectations; connects panels to the power grid.
• Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on crew safety.
• Complete projects within established policies and procedures.
• Ensures that equipment is weather sealed.
• Performs routine maintenance on PV systems.
• Responsible for assisting the Electrician with connecting PV panels to the electrical system.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
