Job summary

Peregrin at Perry Lane Hotel, Savannah, GA, seeks a welcoming server to provide prompt, courteous dining service to guests in a refined setting. You will greet customers, take orders, deliver food and beverages, and ensure a memorable dinning experience.

Attention to detail, accuracy in payments, and cooperation with team members are essential. Prior hospitality experience is preferred, with a focus on guest satisfaction and professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of customer service principles and restaurant operations.
• Must know standard cash-handling procedures.
• Must be fluent in oral and written English.
• Must have vision to read checks and instructions in dimly lit conditions.
• Must be able to multi-task and carry trays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and take food and drink orders from restaurant customers, serve orders, and accommodate special requests.
• Remain attentive to customers throughout the dining experience and uphold service standards.
• Restock and perform closing sidework as instructed.
• Memorize menu items and daily specials to answer questions and make recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness in restaurant and service areas to meet health standards.
• Process payments accurately and safeguard guest checks.
