Job summary

Perry Lane Hotel, managed by Sage Hospitality Group, seeks a welcoming, creative, and polished team member for our Food & Beverage team. The role focuses on delivering timely food, ensuring plate quality, and maintaining knowledge of service standards within a luxury setting in Savannah.

Experience in a similar role is preferred; high school education or equivalent is required, with a strong emphasis on guest service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• 3 months or longer experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of restaurant operations is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely delivery of food and maintain high plate quality.
• Maintain knowledge of table/seat/station numbers, room capacity, hours of operation, setup, and dress code.
• Comply with all departmental policies and service procedures.
• Know liquor brands, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic options, glassware and garnishes.
• Know all menu items, prices, prep methods, ingredients, and presentation standards.
• Comply with state liquor regulations about service to minors and intoxicated persons.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment operation and safe use.
• Be familiar with POS and manual systems.
• Assist other staff to contribute to department and hotel performance.
