Job summary

The Montford Rooftop Bar at the DoubleTree by Hilton Asheville Downtown invites you to join our team as a Restaurant Server. Greet guests, present menus, take orders, and ensure timely service while maintaining a welcoming dining experience at the heart of downtown Asheville.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of restaurant serving experience.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming dining experience.
• Present menus, take accurate orders, and provide tailored recommendations.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring accuracy and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address requests; refill beverages as needed.
• Respond knowledgeably to guest inquiries about menu items and dietary needs.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and escalate concerns to management when needed.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including dining area setup and workstation cleaning.
