Job summary

SRS Building Products - Lakeland is seeking a dedicated team member to load and unload roofing materials at residential and commercial rooftops in Lakeland, FL. You will follow OSHA and company safety guidelines, assist drivers, and ensure accurate material handling, with potential overtime during peak seasons.

Ideal candidates are physically fit, able to lift up to 100 lbs, and have reliable transportation. Spanish is a plus, and forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to pass criminal and driving background checks and a pre-employment drug test.
• Proficient in verbal and written English; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks using manual and mechanical methods.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Distribute materials to rooftops safely per guidelines.
• Operate conveyor belt systems where trained and certified.
• Verify and reconcile material orders accurately.
• Provide exceptional service to roofing contractors.
• Coordinate with drivers and teammates to optimize loading/unloading.
