Job summary

SRS Building Products - Ventura is seeking a reliable rooftop materials handler to load, unload, transport, and position roofing materials on residential and commercial rooftops. You will support safe, efficient material flow and customer service excellence across sites.

The role requires physical fitness to lift up to 100 lbs, outdoor work, and adherence to OSHA guidelines. Prior forklift certification is preferred; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass criminal and driving background checks, as well as a pre-employment drug test.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs and working at heights on varied roof surfaces.
• Proficient in verbal and written English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks using manual and mechanical methods.
• Ensure safety guidelines and procedures are followed.
• Distribute materials onto flat and sloped roofs per safety guidelines.
• Operate conveyor belt systems (where trained) to move materials from trucks to rooftops.
• Verify and reconcile material orders accurately.
• Provide exceptional service to roofing contractors.
• Coordinate with drivers and team members to optimize loading/unloading.
