Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. in Redding, CA is seeking a rooftop materials handler responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting roofing materials to and from delivery trucks and job sites.

You will work outdoors on rooftops, follow safety guidelines, and coordinate with drivers to ensure accurate material placement. The role requires physical stamina to lift up to 100 lbs, adherence to OSHA rules, and reliable English communication; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass criminal and driving background checks, along with a pre-employment drug test.
• Authorized to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship.
• Proficient in verbal and written English; Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks using manual and mechanical methods.
• Ensure safety guidelines and procedures are followed.
• Distribute materials onto flat and sloped roofs per safety guidelines.
• Operate conveyor belt systems (where trained and certified) to transport materials from trucks to rooftops.
• Accurately verify and reconcile material orders.
• Provide exceptional service to roofing contractors.
• Adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
• Coordinate loading/unloading with drivers and teammates.
