Job summary

SRS Building Products - Lansing is seeking a driven materials loader responsible for loading, unloading, transporting and positioning roofing materials on rooftops and job sites in Lansing, MI. You will work with drivers and team members to ensure on-time deliveries while upholding safety and customer service standards.

Role requires physical fitness, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and comfort with heights and outdoor conditions. OSHA guidelines and PPE usage are mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and operate machinery.
• Experience handling roofing materials is a plus.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to OSHA guidelines.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication in English; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks using manual and mechanical methods.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
• Distribute materials onto flat and sloped roofs per safety guidelines.
• Operate conveyor belt systems where trained and certified.
• Verify and reconcile material orders and provide service to roofing contractors.
