Job summary
Tiello is partnering with an established commercial roofing and waterproofing contractor in Little Rock, AR to hire an experienced Commercial Roofing & Waterproofing Estimator. You will review construction documents, perform material and labor takeoffs, and develop detailed proposals for roofing, waterproofing and building envelope projects.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on estimating experience, strong knowledge of Division 7 materials, and proficiency with The EDGE estimating software to
Qualifications
- Experience estimating commercial roofing and/or waterproofing.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings and project specifications.
- Strong cost estimation and bid development skills.
- Experience coordinating with vendors and field teams.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial roofing and waterproofing.
- Review plans, drawings, specifications, bid documents and project requirements.
- Perform accurate material and labor takeoffs and cost calculations.
- Utilize EDGE software to prepare detailed estimates and pricing.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for pricing.
- Prepare bid proposals, pricing breakdowns, and supporting docs.
- Collaborate with project managers and field operations for handoffs.
- Identify scope gaps and potential risks for value engineering.
- Maintain organized estimating records and bid schedules.
- Ensure estimates align with project specs and market conditions.
