Job summary

Tiello in Little Rock, AR is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing & Waterproofing Estimator to join our team. You will handle detailed cost estimates, material takeoffs, and competitive bid development for commercial roofing and waterproofing projects.

The ideal candidate has hands-on estimating experience in commercial roofing and waterproofing, strong knowledge of Division 7 materials, and proficiency with EDGE estimating software.

Qualifications

• Hands-on estimating experience in commercial roofing and/or waterproofing.
• Experience with The EDGE estimating software required.
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial roofing systems, waterproofing assemblies, and building envelope components.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial roofing and waterproofing projects.
• Review construction plans, drawings, specs, bid documents, and project requirements.
• Perform accurate material and labor takeoffs and calculate equipment and other project costs.
• Utilize EDGE software to prepare detailed estimates and competitive pricing.
• Evaluate project scope, installation methods, material specs, and construction requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors for pricing.
• Identify scope gaps, risks, and opportunities for value engineering.
• Prepare bid proposals, pricing breakdowns, and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, field leadership, and operations for accurate handoffs.
• Review project documents to identify discrepancies and potential cost impacts before bid submission.
• Maintain organized estimating records and bid schedules.
• Manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines and accuracy.
• Ensure estimates align with project specs, standards, and market conditions.
