Job summary

CentiMark Corporation, the world leader in commercial/industrial roofing, seeks an entry-level Roofing Technical Inspector to support the Chesapeake office. You will travel to customer sites, inspect roofs, measure areas, and help generate proposals with the sales team.

Candidate requirements include strong organizational and communication skills, basic construction knowledge, and a valid driver’s license. Training and premier benefits are offered in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Organizational, analytical, problem-solving and people skills required.
• Computer skills: MS Word, Excel and bid-estimating software.
• General construction, roofing and/or construction sales experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing required.
• Ability to climb ladders to 25 feet.
• Experience with commercial roofing systems preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to inspect commercial roofs.
• Communicate with customers and identify problem areas.
• Measure roofs and estimate material and labor needs for re-roofing.
• Provide accurate information to sales for proposals.
• Assist in marketing for new accounts.

This position pays $55k-$60k (DOE)plus premier benefits.

Job Summary:

• Travel to customer’s locations and inspect commercial roofs
• Communicate with customers and check roofs for problem areas
• Measures commercial roofs and estimate the amount of roofing material and labor needed to re-roof
• Will work closely with the sales force to provide them with accurate information for the creation of proposals for customers
• Assist in marketing for new accounts

Candidate Requirements:

• Organizational, Analytical, Problem Solving and People Skills
• Computer skills (proficient in MS Word, Excel and Bid Estimating Software)
• General Construction, Roofing and/or constructions sales experience
• A Valid driver’s license in good standing
• Able to climb up & down ladders to minimum heights of 25 feet
• Experience with commercial roofing systems: THERMOPLASTIC, BUR, METAL, SHINGLES, TILE, SPF FOAM and COATINGS preferred, but will train the right individual
• College Degree inConstruction Management or similar;preferred
