Job summary

CentiMark Corporation is seeking an entry-level Roofing Technical Representative to support Sales Representatives in the greater Charleston area. The role involves visiting customer sites to inspect commercial roofs, communicate issues, and measure roofs to estimate materials and labor for re-roofs.

Occasional overnight travel is required. Compensation is $50k-$55k with premier benefits and a yearly bonus opportunity.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• Experience in general construction, roofing, or construction sales.
• Ability to travel and inspect roofs; proficient with estimating materials and labor.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations and inspect commercial roofs.
• Communicate with customers and identify problem areas.
• Measure roofs and estimate material and labor needs for re-roofing.

CentiMark Corporation, the nation's leader in the commercial/industrial roofing industry, has an exceptional opportunity for an entry-level Roofing Technical Representative to support Sales Representatives in the greater Charleston area.

This position pays $50k - $55k plus premier benefits and annual bonus opportunity.

Job Summary:

• Travel to customer's locations and inspect commercial roofs
• Communicate with customers and check roofs for problem areas
• Measures commercial roofs and estimate the amount of roofing material and labor needed to re-roof
• Will work closely with the sales force to provide them with accurate information for the creation of proposals for customers
• Occasional overnight travel during the week

Candidate Requirements:

• Computer skills (proficient in MS Word, Excel and Bid Estimating Software)
• General Construction, Roofing and/or construction sales experience
• A valid driver’s license in good standing
• Able to climb up & down ladders to minimum heights of 25 feet
• Experience with commercial roofing systems: THERMOPLASTIC, BUR, METAL, SHINGLES, TILE, SPF FOAM and COATINGS preferred, but will train the right individual
• College Degree in Construction Management or similarpreferred
