Job summary

Gorman Roofing Services is seeking a Superintendent (Modified) at our Phoenix branch to manage production/service operations, coordinate staffing, and uphold safety and compliance with government regulations. The role emphasizes minimizing overhead, maintaining equipment, and delivering excellent customer support.

The Superintendent will oversee subcontractors, enforce safety plans, and ensure alignment with OSHA standards while driving on-time project completion and branch performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of commercial single‑ply roofing experience.
• Experience in production/service and employee management.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Proficiency with Sage and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Help manage Lytx use for the branch and review safe driving practices.
• Maintain a record of individuals needing coaching and document coaching confirmations.
• Recognize employees with a full week of limited safety concerns on a quarterly basis.
• Ensure all employee sign-off on the new Fleet Safety Manual checklist in Paycom.
• Set up job folders and ensure all necessary information is included.
• Promote core company values of safety, customer service, honesty, integrity, and professionalism.
