Qualifications

• Knowledge of and/or experience with all types of roofing.
• Ability to sell, estimate and develop new business.
• Able to read blueprints and understand specifications.
• Strong computer skills and experience with MS Office.
• Strong oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to manage a team of 10+ employees.
• Familiarity with contracts and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and establish objectives and goals for duties assigned.
• Oversee flow of documents including final invoices and proposals.
• Review estimates, inspections, scopes, proposals and invoices for service work.
• Monitor and mentor subordinates; supervise field crews and office staff.
• Determine staffing, hire/fire within policy and with HR guidance.
• Review employee performance and enforce company policies.
• Maintain open communication with customers, management and staff.
• Coordinate with other departments as needed to meet business goals.
• Develop and execute a departmental sales plan and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist in collection of past due accounts related to service work.
• Attend meetings with owners, property managers and contractors.
• Issue proposals and manage service projects, including scheduling and billing.
• Report monthly financials to the President; track performance metrics.
