Job summary

Tecta America Commercial Roofing in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee all field operations, drive budget, productivity, quality, and safety initiatives, and lead continuous improvement. This role requires at least five years in commercial roofing management; a construction management degree is preferred.

You will guide production crews, coordinate bids and work with the project team to deliver projects safely and on schedule.

Qualifications

Five years minimum of commercial roofing industry experience in management.
Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred.
Strong planning, organizing and multitasking abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in MS Office and project documentation.

Responsibilities

Oversee field operations for roofing production, sheet metal, and service crews.
Lead safety and quality initiatives across projects.
Review bids, estimates, contracts, and change orders with project team.
Monitor labor, materials, subcontractors, and equipment costs to meet budgets.
Coordinate with project manager on scope changes and scheduling.
Ensure timely communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
