Job summary

Childers Roofing, a Tecta America company, in Jacksonville, FL, seeks an experienced Commercial Service Foreman to lead the service crew, locate and repair leaks in EPDM, PVC, TPO, BUR, Modified Bitumen, and low-slope metal roofs, and manage projects from start to finish with high craftsmanship.

Responsibilities include removal and installation of roof systems, maintenance, safety compliance, client communication, and crew training.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
2+ years experience leading commercial roofing crews.
A valid driver's license.
Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
Must be able to work at varying heights and during variety of weather conditions.
Ability to communicate well with clients, supervisor and co-workers.
Initiative, Integrity, and Adaptability.
Technology savvy.

Responsibilities

Removal and installation of all types of commercial roof systems including: BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope metal roof systems
Roof maintenance and repairs
Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines.
Maintain professional interaction with all customers.
Manage commercial roofing crew, includes completing required paperwork, attending meetings as necessary, assist in training of crew members as needed
