Job summary

Gulfeagle Supply is seeking a Delivery Material Handler to join our team. You will support loading and securing building materials for delivery, assist the driver with site location, and help unload with forklifts or conveyors as needed.

You may climb ladders and work on job sites, ensuring safe handling of materials. Strong English or Spanish literacy and ability to lift up to 100 lbs are required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Read, write, and comprehend English or Spanish as required by the branch location.
• Knowledge of roofing material and/or construction and distribution.
• Able to lift up to 100 pounds repeatedly and work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Load or assist in loading materials on trucks daily and secure them for transport.
• Verify quantities and assist the driver in locating job sites.
• Assist in backing up, directing placement of conveyors, and unloading materials.
• Climb up to roofs to deliver materials and ensure proper stacking.
• Maintain warehouse, yard, and trucks in a presentable condition; perform minor repairs as needed.
• Follow OSHA guidelines and participate in safety efforts; support inventory checks quarterly.
• Provide courteous customer service at delivery points and report issues to management.
