Job summary

Gulfeagle Supply's Sterling Heights branch is hiring a Delivery Material Handler to assist drivers in delivering materials to job sites, using a forklift, crane, conveyor, and manual handling as needed.

Physical stamina is required: you must lift up to 100 pounds and work on multi-story sites with ladders up to 40 feet. Training is provided, safety is prioritized, and you will help keep the warehouse, yard, and fleet organized while delivering great customer service.

Qualifications

• Read, write, and comprehend English or Spanish as required by the branch location.
• Knowledge of roofing material and/or construction and distribution.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, and verify quantities for delivery daily.
• Assist driver in locating the job site and backing up.
• Operate forklift/crane/conveyor and unload materials as needed.
• Climb up to a 40-foot ladder to deliver materials on pitched roofs.
• Maintain safety and OSHA compliance; assist in inventory checks.
• Keep warehouse, yard, and trucks clean and organized.
• Assist customers with materials and deliver excellent service.
