Job summary

Blueprint Hires is seeking a Roofing Manager to oversee inspection and construction monitoring for national clients. You will observe construction activities, verify compliance with plans, identify defects, and produce daily reports, collaborating with teams to ensure project success.

The role requires 5+ years in inspection and monitoring, an architecture or civil engineering background, and willingness to travel to sites to deliver outstanding service to clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of inspection and construction monitoring experience.
• Degree in architecture, civil engineering, or a similar field is a plus.
• Experience in multi-family residential, institutional and commercial construction with roofing/building envelope exposure.

Responsibilities

• Observe construction activities and verify compliance with contract documents, plans, and specs.
• Identify installation defects and produce daily reports and records of construction activities.
• Work as part of a team, contributing to project success.
• Collaborate with clients and contractors by managing construction projects and schedules.
• Travel to construction sites and coordinate with clients to ensure excellent service.

A multi-disciplinary architectural, engineering and construction firm is seeking a Roofing Manager to help them provide exceptional inspection and construction monitoring services to their national clients.

Your Day Includes

• Observing construction activities and verifying compliance with contract documents, plans, and specifications
• Identifying installation defects and producing daily reports and records of construction activities
• Working as part of a team, providing input and contributing to the success of each project
• Working with clients and contractors through managing construction project and schedules
• Traveling to construction sites and working with clients to ensure outstanding service

Must Haves

• 5+ years of inspection and construction monitoring experience
• 2 to 4-year college level education (degree in architecture, civil engineering, or a similar field a plus)
• Experience in multi-family residential, institutional and commercial construction projects with familiarity in roofing, waterproofing and other building envelope areas
• Current driver's license and reliable transportation
