Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Roofing Project Manager to join our team and work directly with the President of our company on high-end, primarily new construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring substantial experience in roofing project management, estimating, and construction oversight.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years working as an estimator or project manager for a roofing contractor.
• Extensive experience managing residential new construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret building plans and specifications.
• Perform accurate material takeoffs and cost estimates for roofing scopes.
• Oversee installation details and ensure adherence to project quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with crew leaders and field teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress, address challenges, and ensure timely completion.
• Collaborate closely with company leadership throughout all phases of the project.
• Perform project level profitability analysis to inform project cost estimating.

Qualifications

• Required 5+ years working as an estimator or project manager for a roofing contractor.
• Proven experience as a roofing project manager, preferably in high-end or new construction environments.
• Strong background in estimating, reading building plans, and performing takeoffs.
• In-depth knowledge of roofing installation details, techniques, and quality standards across multiple roof types both low slope and steep slope.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills for working with Foremen.
• Experience as a former roofing contractor is highly desirable and considered a major plus.
• Proficiency with office software tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and project management platforms).
