Job summary

Guardian Roofing, Gutters, & Insulation is seeking a Sales Technician to inspect homes, present roofing solutions, and close sales with a strong emphasis on customer service and Guardian policies. The role involves traveling to various appointment sites in the Portland metro area, maintaining safety, and building relationships with homeowners.

After an initial training period, you will be responsible for generating new leads, following up with clients, and achieving high closing ratios.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years outside sales experience.
• Excellent communication skills with clients.
• Ability to pass background and motor vehicle checks.
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Sell roofing systems and repairs to clients using the provided pricing system.
• Explain client needs and recommendations to present best options.
• Maintain safety on site and in travel, including shoe covers in homes.
• Move leads through the funnel; target 10 new leads per week after training.
• Achieve a closing ratio of 40%+ for replacements and 50% for repairs; aim for $100,000/mo in sales.
• Process sold jobs with 24-hour turnaround.
