Job summary

Guardian Roofing, Gutters & Insulation is seeking a Sales Technician to inspect homes, present findings, and offer roofing solutions within the Guardian Sales System. You will build relationships with clients, manage pricing, and drive sales while upholding safety and service standards.

Position requires excellent communication, driving record, and ability to operate in a fast-paced home improvement environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent/Bachelor's Degree in relevant field preferred
• Must have valid driver's license
• Ability to pass drug test, physical, MV or background check
• Coordinate daily work with multiple crews
• Manage job costs and installation quality
• 2-5 years outside sales experience
• Excellent communication skills; build trust with clients
• Excellent time management & organization skills
• Business and financial knowledge
• Strong ability to help others succeed
• Ability to climb a ladder
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Ability to be on roofs up to 40 ft tall
• Ability to maneuver tight crawl spaces and attics (<1 hour/day)

Responsibilities

• Sell roofing systems, repairs and maintenance using residential sales and pricing system
• Explain client needs and recommendations to provide best options
• Maintain safety on job site and while driving
• Respect clients' time and property; wear shoe covers in homes
• Explain and sell Club Membership to clients
• After 60-day training, maintain 10 new leads per week (leads provided)
• Maintain closing ratio: 40% for roof replacements, 50% for repairs; target $100k/month in sales
• Complete paperwork within 24 hours from sale to processing
• Obey all team rules per Company Handbook
• Maintain company vehicle cleanliness; vehicle as a marketing billboard
