Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking two dependable General Laborers to support a roofing job site, working at Grand Forks AFB, ND and Rapid City, SD.

This outdoor, on-site position requires strong attendance, the ability to lift and move materials, and teamwork with the roofing crew.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm, through November, with pay of $22.00 per hour. Base access eligibility and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable with strong attendance.
• Comfortable performing physical outdoor labor.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials.
• Construction or roofing experience helpful but not required.
• Team player and safety-conscious.

Position Overview

Express is looking for two dependable, hard-working General Laborers to support a roofing job site. The client is specifically looking for two of our best people who are reliable, motivated, and able to work well in a construction environment.

Essential Duties

• Clean and maintain the job site.
• Remove garbage and debris from the work area.
• Move and organize materials around the job site.
• Assist the roofing crew with general labor and job-site support.
• Keep work areas safe, clean, and organized.
• Follow directions from the site supervisor and roofing crew.
• Perform other general labor duties as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be dependable and have a strong attendance record.
• Must be comfortable performing physical labor outdoors.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and move materials.
• Construction or roofing experience is helpful but not required.
• Must be willing to work as part of a team and follow safety instructions.
• Must be eligible to access the base.

Screening & Base Access

• No drug screen is required.
• Express does not need to run a background check for this position.
• Candidates must still be eligible for base access.
• Candidates will be required to complete the base security/access form provided by the client.
• Per the base security requirements outlined on the form, individuals with major felony convictions may not be permitted access to the base.
• The security form must be completed and submitted to the client ASAP so the base-access process can begin.

Important: Not requiring an Express background check does not automatically mean a candidate will be approved for base access. Base access is determined according to the requirements on the security form.
