Job summary

Western Specialty Contractors is seeking a Roofing Foreman at our Dallas, TX location. You will oversee field crews, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with project leads to meet deadlines.

You should have trade experience, the ability to read drawings, and strong supervision skills. This is an on-site role with potential for career growth within America’s Master Craftsmen in Restoration and Preservation.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a trade or craft with concrete and masonry preferred.
  • Ability to read drawings and understand project requirements.
  • Good physical stamina to stand, lift, climb and work at heights.
  • Strong communication to supervise crew and maintain customer relations.

Description

Come work for America’s Master Craftsmen in Restoration and Preservation! Western Specialty Contractors is currently looking for self‑motivated, top notch individuals to help serve our customers as a Roofing Foreman at our Dallas, TX location. If you are a self‑motivated individual with great work ethic and the personality to help with customer satisfaction, then we would love to meet you!

As a member of the branch production team, you will be responsible for the performance of work within a particular work area and in accordance with generally accepted standards of the crafts.

  • Requirements:
  • Workers should be able to: Follow specific directions; perform a variety of duties which may often change; work within standards of accuracy; repeat tasks of short duration according to a set procedure; evaluate information using measurable standards.
  • Identify existing and predictable hazards to work surroundings, including working conditions that are unsanitary, hazardous or dangerous to employees.

  • Must be able to demonstrate sufficient reading, writing and math skills to comprehend and explain company safety policies and material instruction
  • The ability to read drawings is necessary

  • Physically, workers must be able to: Stand or walk for long periods; lift and carry materials weighing 50 pounds or more; climb up and down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects and carry tools and equipment; and see (naturally or with correction)
  • Abilities to work at heights, at extreme temperatures, and to wear company’s safety equipment are essential.
  • Experience in a trade or craft is required, preferably in concrete and masonry.
Benefits

Western offers a competitive wage. We provide medical, dental and vision insurance with the company paying over 80% of the premium. A $10,000 Life insurance and $10,000 Accidental death and dismemberment benefit is provided and is 100% company‑paid. Generous 401k plan. Must work at a minimum of 30 hours per week to be eligible for benefits after 90 days of employment.

Compensation for this role is determined using a variety of factors, including experience, skills, internal equity, market benchmarks, and the cost of labor in the different geographic locations where we operate. In addition to base pay, this position may also be eligible for:

  • Beneficial ownership in the Company through Western’s Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
  • A comprehensive benefits package, which includes health, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid time off, maternity leave, and additional benefits designed to support employees and their families.

US Pay Range

$28—$33 USD
