Job summary

Western Specialty Contractors is seeking a Waterproofing Foreman at our Atlanta Branch. You will lead a crew performing masonry and waterproofing tasks, enforce safety, and ensure work meets drawings and specifications. The position offers ESOP ownership and a strong benefits package.

You’ll coordinate with the branch production team to manage work area performance, train teammates, and maintain quality while delivering customer satisfaction in a hands‑on role.

Qualifications

• Experience in Waterproofing or Masonry is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee small/medium crews across masonry and waterproofing projects.
• Caulk around windows, control joints and concrete structures.
• Supervise workers to ensure drawings and specs are followed and quality standards met.
• Identify hazards and halt operations if dangerous conditions are present.
• Rig scaffolding and assist in loading and placing materials as needed.
• Maintain clean work area and restock materials.
• Coordinate activities and report progress to the superintendent.

Western Specialty Contractors is currently looking for self‑motivated, top‑notch individuals to help serve our customers as a Waterproofing Foreman at our Atlanta Branch. If you are a self‑motivated individual with great work ethic and the personality to help with customer satisfaction, then we would love to meet you!

As a member of the branch production team, you will be responsible for the performance of work within a particular work area and in accordance with generally accepted standards of the crafts.

Requirements

To be qualified for this job, experience in Waterproofing OR Masonry experience is needed.

• Assists the various craftsmen in the performance of their work within a particular construction work area and in accordance with generally accepted standards of the craft
• Oversee small/medium sized crews during various projects related to masonry and waterproofing.
• Caulk around windows, control joints, and concrete structures.
• Supervises workers assigned to area of responsibility to ensure construction complies with drawings and specifications and meets quality standards
• Acts as the competent person on the job by identifying existing and predicable hazards which are unsanitary, hazardous or dangerous to employees and halting any operation or removes employees from environments that may be dangerous
• May mix cement, using hoe or concrete mixing machine
• Load, transport, unload, and furnish experienced craft worker with materials, tools, equipment, and supplies
• Clean work area and restock supplies and materials as necessary
• Rigging of mobile and stationery scaffolding on structures in accordance with corporate guidelines
• May assist in lifting, positioning, and securing of materials and workpieces during installation
• May perform minor maintenance or cleaning activities of journeyman's tools and equipment
• Perform other routine duties as directed by craft worker
• May remove rough or defective spots from concrete using grinder, hammer, and/or chisel. May patch holes
• Supervises & coordinates the activities of assigned workers, establishes and adjusts work sequences to meet construction schedules, and communicates progress to superintendent
• Ensures that workers know and understand the company's safety policies
• Maintains liaison with customer's representative and advises superintendent and/or project manager of potential problems.

Western offers a competitive wage. We provide medical, dental and vision insurance with the company paying over 80% of the premium. A $10,000 Life insurance and $10,000 Accidental death and dismemberment benefit is provided and is 100% company-paid. Generous 401k plan. Must work at a minimum of 30 hours per week to be eligible for benefits after 90 days of employment.

Compensation for this role is determined using a variety of factors, including experience, skills, internal equity, market benchmarks, and the cost of labor in the different geographic locations where we operate. In addition to base pay, this position may also be eligible for:Beneficial ownership in the Company through Western's Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).A comprehensive benefits package, which includes health, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid time off, maternity leave, and additional benefits designed to support employees and their families.

US Pay Range: $25 USD - $45 USD
