Western Specialty Contractors is currently looking for self‑motivated, top‑notch individuals to help serve our customers as a Roofing Foreman at our Sacramento, CA location. As a member of the branch production team, you will be responsible for the performance of work within a particular work area and in accordance with generally accepted standards of the craft.

Responsibilities

• Follow specific directions and perform a variety of duties that may often change, working within standards of accuracy and following set procedures.
• Identify existing and predictable hazards to work surroundings, including unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous conditions.
• Read, write, and perform basic math to comprehend and explain company safety policies and material instruction.
• Read drawings accurately.
• Communicate effectively to supervise employees and maintain customer relations.
• Stand or walk for long periods, lift and carry materials weighing 50 pounds or more, climb ladders and scaffolds, and see (naturally or with correction).
• Work at heights, in extreme temperatures, and wear required safety equipment.

Requirements

• Industry experience in roofing and waterproofing restoration services.
• Specific experience with fluid‑applied roof coating, waterproofing coating, caulking, concrete repair, and injection.
• Leadership experience as a foreman running crews.
• Willingness to train new employees.
• Knowledge of safety policies and instruction; reading, writing, and math proficiency.
• Ability to read drawings.
• Ability to identify hazards in the work environment.
• Physical ability to stand or walk long periods, lift 50 pounds or more, climb ladders and scaffolds, and work at heights and extreme temperatures with safety equipment.
• Strong communication skills to supervise employees and maintain customer relations.
• Experience in a trade or craft, preferably concrete and masonry.
