Job summary

Sealed Air in Simpsonville, SC is hiring for a Night Shift Production Operator to manage standard-rate production on laminate extrusion lines and coordinate material needs and changeovers to maximize machine utilization.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and 1–3 years of experience, with basic computer skills; radiation certification is preferred. Responsibilities include monitoring instruments, performing QC checks, and guiding attendants to maintain line stability and quality.

Responsibilities

• Run Laminate Extrusion lines.
• Maintain line stability and high-quality film.
• Monitor instruments, controls and materials during shift.
• Perform changeovers/start-up/shutdowns in a timely, quality-conscious manner.
• Complete production and quality reports (QCs, SOCs, control charts).
• Maintain housekeeping per SQF and safety guidelines.
• Adjust processes to maintain rate, yield and quality.
• Obtain material needed for shift.
• Perform QCs and SOCs for lines.
• Guide Attendant in duties.

Job description

Position Summary:

Responsible for minimum standard rate production that exceeds with current market qualityneeds. Coordinating all activities relating to machine operation, material requirements andchangeover to assure full utilization of Rollstock machines.

Pay: $25.75

Shift: Night

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform all duties in accordance with safety regulations.
• Run Laminate Extrusion lines.
• Work with other operators and attendants within his/her team to maintain line stability and toproduce the highest quality film possible.
• Monitors all instruments, controls, and material during each shift.
• Performs changeovers/start-up/shut-downs in a quality conscious manner in the required time.
• Completes all production and quality reports including QCs, SOCs, control charts, etc and entersinto the computer.
• Maintains housekeeping in the area, following SQF and safety guidelines.
• Makes adjustments as needed to maintain rate, yield, and quality.
• Operators conveying and blending systems.
• Obtain material needed for shift.
• Perform QCs and SOCs for lines.
• Complete scrap tickets/weigh scrap.
• Guide Attendant in duties.

Qualifications

Education:

• Highschool Diploma or equivalent

Requirements:

• 1-3 years
• Computer knowledge; 1-2 years of Windows applications experience preferred

Other Requirements:

• Radiation Certification is preferred
