Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation is seeking a Night Shift Production Operator to oversee Laminate Extrusion lines, coordinating materials and changeovers to maximize line utilization and product quality.

You will monitor instruments, run the line, perform start-ups/shut-downs, enter production and QC data, and keep area clean in line with SQF and safety guidelines. A high school diploma is required; 1–3 years experience and Windows knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of work experience; Windows applications experience preferred.
• Radiation Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties in accordance with safety regulations.
• Run Laminate Extrusion lines.
• Work with other operators to maintain line stability and produce high quality film.
• Monitor all instruments, controls, and material during each shift.
• Perform changeovers/start-up/shut-downs in a timely, quality-conscious manner.
• Complete production and quality reports (QC, SOCs, control charts) and enter into the computer.
• Maintain housekeeping in the area per SQF and safety guidelines.
• Make adjustments to maintain rate, yield, and quality.
• Assist with material conveyance and blending systems.
• Obtain materials needed for the shift.
• Perform QCs and SOCs for lines.
• Complete scrap tickets/weigh scrap.
• Guide Attendant in duties.
