Job summary

CMC, a Fortune 500 company, seeks a candidate to coordinate CAPEX projects, support installations, and track KPIs while promoting a safe work environment.

You'll collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Production to improve process performance, analyze data, and pursue Industry 4.0 initiatives. A Bachelor's in Metallurgical/Materials/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field and 0–3 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience in manufacturing, steel processing, rolling mill operations, or related industrial environments.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and data interpretation.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the operational aspects of capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, including planning, scheduling, production integration, and commissioning support.
• Support equipment installations, process upgrades, and start-up activities associated with CAPEX initiatives.
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicate findings to management and operational teams.
• Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company safety and environmental standards.
• Monitor and analyze rolling mill process performance, including productivity, yield, quality, throughput, and equipment utilization.
• Collect, organize, and interpret production data to identify trends, process variations, and opportunities for improvement.
• Apply statistical methods and data analysis techniques to support process optimization and root cause investigations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, cost reduction, and productivity improvements.
• Support troubleshooting activities related to rolling mill operations, product quality, and process stability.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Production teams to improve process performance.
• Create and maintain process documentation, technical reports, standard operating procedures, and performance dashboards.
• Participate in process capability studies and production trials.
• Support implementation of Industry 4.0 and data-driven manufacturing initiatives.
