Job summary

Metallus is seeking a Rolling Mill Operations Engineering Intern in Canton, OH, for Summer 2027. You will join the rolling mill team to work on process improvement opportunities and assist on rolling mill projects through to completion.

Responsibilities include collaborating with planners and schedulers on repair projects, gaining real-world experience, and networking with leadership. Housing options and wellness resources may be available.

Qualifications

• Must be a full-time student attending an accredited two-year or four-year college/university.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
• Must have completed 30 or more credit hours by the end of Spring 2027 semester.

• Work with the rolling mill team on an assigned rolling mill project that can be seen through completion.
• Work with planners/schedulers on repair projects.

Internship Assignment: Full Time – Summer 2027

Internship Qualifications:

Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5

Preferred majors: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related
