Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5–7 years of progressive maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, including 3+ years in a supervisory/management role.
• Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.
• Experience developing and managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Proficiency with CMMS, including work order management, maintenance records, and reporting.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Experience managing maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, vendors, and equipment improvement projects.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing safety practices and environmental requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and organizational skills across departments.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and specialists, establishing safety, work quality, productivity, and accountability expectations.
• Prioritize and assign daily work orders, monitor completion, and provide technical guidance.
• Develop, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Coordinate timely responses to equipment breakdowns, ensuring safe repairs and minimized production disruption.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems, plus facility equipment.
• Investigate recurring equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment histories, work orders, and CMMS data.
• Manage the maintenance budget, including labor, parts, tools, and external services.
• Maintain inventory levels for critical spare parts and coordinate purchasing for readiness.
• Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate maintenance-related service agreements.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA/EPA safety requirements; support EHS inspections and training.
• Plan and oversee equipment installations, commissioning, and capital projects with scope, timelines, and costs.
• Collaborate with Production and Engineering to schedule maintenance around priorities.
• Monitor uptime, maintenance cost per unit, and safety performance to drive improvements.

Spectra Gutter Systems is seeking a Rollforming Maintenance Manager to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The Rollforming Maintenance Manager will lead maintenance operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining the reliability, safety, and performance of production equipment, facility systems, and infrastructure while supporting daily production goals and long-term operational improvements.

They will lead and develop the maintenance team, manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs, oversee maintenance spending and critical parts inventory, and coordinate equipment installations and capital improvement projects. Working closely with Production, Engineering, and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS), this leader will reduce unplanned downtime, address recurring equipment issues, and establish consistent maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and specialists, establishing clear expectations for safety, work quality, productivity, and accountability.


• Prioritize and assign daily work orders, monitor completion, and provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support.


• Develop, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.


• Coordinate timely responses to equipment breakdowns, ensuring repairs are completed safely and production disruptions are minimized.


• Oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems, along with facility equipment and infrastructure.


• Investigate recurring equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions that improve long-term performance.


• Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment histories, work orders, and parts usage within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).


• Manage the maintenance budget, including labor, replacement parts, tools, equipment, and outside services.


• Maintain appropriate inventory levels for critical spare parts and coordinate purchasing to support maintenance readiness.


• Evaluate vendor and contractor performance, coordinate service work, and negotiate maintenance-related service agreements.


• Ensure maintenance activities comply with applicable OSHA, EPA, and company safety requirements; partner with EHS on inspections, audits, hazard reduction, and employee training.


• Plan and oversee equipment installations, commissioning, modifications, and capital improvement projects, tracking scope, timelines, costs, and deliverables.


• Partner with Production and Engineering to schedule maintenance and project work around operational priorities.


• Monitor equipment uptime and downtime, preventive versus reactive maintenance, maintenance cost per unit produced, work order completion, and safety performance to identify and drive improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.


• Five to seven years of progressive maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least three years in a supervisory or management role.


• Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.


• Demonstrated experience developing and managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.


• Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), including work order management, maintenance records, and reporting.


• Ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective actions.


• Experience managing maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, vendors, and equipment improvement projects.


• Working knowledge of manufacturing safety practices and applicable safety and environmental requirements.


• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively across departments.


• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles preferred.


• Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), automation systems, or robotics preferred.


• Certifications such as Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Project Management Professional (PMP), or completion of OSHA 30 training, preferred.
