Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is desirable.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Ability to meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Ability to safely drive the truck and operate equipment.
• Experience operating a standard transmission (location dependent).
• Knowledge of DOT/OSHA/FMCSA/EPA regulations and safe operating practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers.

Responsibilities

• Drive a roll-off truck along designated routes to collect, exchange, or deliver containers and transport to post-collection facilities.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections; complete vehicle reports.
• Interact courteously with customers and public; report issues to supervisor.
• Keep the truck and surroundings clean; manage spills safely.
• Maintain DOT logbook and route/productivity sheets as required.
• Maneuver the truck into and out of tight spaces using mirrors.
• Use maps and GPS to locate service addresses.
• Follow all safety policies and company procedures.
