Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Roll-off Driver to safely and efficiently collect waste across multiple lines of business. CDL required; duties include operating roll-off trucks, performing inspections, and maintaining accurate records while ensuring safety and customer service standards.

Responsibilities include route adherence, vehicle maintenance reporting, PPE use, and collaboration with supervision to optimize routes. Overtime may be required; strong safety focus is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or desired.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria and demonstrate safe driving a CDL vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll-off truck and ancillary equipment to collect waste.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and documentation daily.
• Report mechanical issues to supervisor immediately.
• Maintain route quality and safety standards.
• Follow all safety rules and wear PPE at all times.
• Maintain clean vehicle interior and exterior.
• Maintain accurate service records and assist with routing improvements.
