Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services. You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards and complete daily VCRs to keep equipment in good condition.

You will perform thorough vehicle inspections, follow route sheets, load refuse, and maintain productivity while interacting professionally with customers and dispatchers.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong adherence to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspection.
• Safely operate the heavy truck on assigned routes and service customers.
• Load refuse and operate the packer blade in accordance with safety policies.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and coworkers.
• Complete required route/productivity sheets and reports.
