Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide reliable waste removal services to customers. The role requires ensuring vehicle compliance with safety standards, performing daily vehicle condition reports, and adhering to all Company, state, and federal regulations.

You will read route sheets, service customers on the route, and maintain timely productivity while upholding safety policies and procedures. —

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues.
• Safely operate the heavy truck on the assigned route and service customers as identified by the route sheet.
• Load refuse, operate the packer and dispose of material at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and coworkers daily.
• Maintain productivity and ensure routes are serviced efficiently and on schedule.
