Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a CDL-B Driver to safely operate a collection truck and complete waste removal services for customers. You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards and file daily vehicle condition reports to address any issues.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, route servicing, and maintaining professional customer interactions while adhering to all regulatory requirements. A Class B CDL with air brakes is required.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle.
• Safely operate heavy truck on assigned route and service customers.
• Load refuse and operate the compactor according to safety standards.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and coworkers.
• Complete route and vehicle condition reports daily to identify defects.
