Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt waste removal for customers. The role requires compliance with safety standards, daily vehicle checks, and accurate reporting of route activity.

Responsibilities include performing pre/post-trip inspections, driving on designated routes, loading refuse, and maintaining professional interactions with customers and dispatchers while upholding company safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class B or higher CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Able to perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Capable of operating a heavy truck safely on assigned routes.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure safety and proper vehicle condition.
• Safely operate the collection truck along designated routes and service customers as assigned.
• Load refuse and operate the compactor in compliance with safety policies.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and team members on a daily basis.
• Complete required reports and productivity sheets; maintain safety standards and adhere to policies.
