Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. in Garner, NC is seeking a CDL driver to join our local hauling operations. You will safely transport roll-off containers, perform pre/post trip inspections, and maintain positive relationships with customers. This role offers consistent local routes and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record.
• 1+ years of commercial driving experience or completion of an accredited CDL school program.
• Safety mindset and knowledge of local transit rules.
• Physical capability to lift, climb into cabs/containers, and work outdoors.
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Master the Route: safely transport and haul commercial roll-off containers to and from customer sites in Garner.
• Operate Heavy Equipment: command roll-off trucks and hydraulic equipment with care.
• Be the Face of GFL: build positive customer relationships through courteous service on every run.
• Safety First: complete daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Problem Solve: communicate with dispatchers, supervisors, and mechanics to keep routes running smoothly.
