Job summary

GFL Environmental is seeking a Roll-Off Driver to safely operate roll-off trucks on commercial routes, collecting waste and recyclables for disposal. The role emphasizes clean operations, adherence to safety standards, and courteous customer interaction.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, DOT log maintenance, and direct communication with customers. A valid CDL and driving experience are required to join a nationwide leader in waste management.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Ability to meet safety-sensitive criteria and demonstrate safe driving.

Responsibilities

• Drive a roll-off truck on designated routes to collect, exchange, or deliver containers.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and submit vehicle reports.
• Interact courteously with customers and the public and report issues to supervision.
• Keep truck and area clean and ensure safety during dumping operations.
• Maintain DOT logbook, route productivity sheet, and post-trip inspection documentation.
