Job summary

WM is seeking a CDL driver to operate heavy-duty trucks and transport waste or recyclable materials to disposal or recycling facilities. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, back up with safe driving practices, and support route efficiency improvements.

The role requires CDL Class A or B with air-brake endorsement, ability to read and communicate in English, and completion of pre-employment screenings. On-site work with comprehensive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B with air-brake endorsement required.
• 1 year of CDL driving or 1 year equivalent military driving within the last 7 years.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the country.
• Able to read, write and speak English well enough to interact with the public.
• Pre-employment screening including drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Operates vehicle in accordance with WM safety and DOT requirements.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Reports unsafe situations or service issues to Operations Manager or Dispatch.
• Attends trainings and meetings as required by WM or Route Manager.
• Works with Operations Manager to improve route efficiencies.
• Completes end-of-day documentation and checkout process.
