Job summary

Waste Management in Colorado is seeking a CDL driver responsible for operating heavy-duty trucks and delivering waste or recyclables to disposal, transfer, or recycling facilities. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, back up in tight spaces, and safely navigate residential and commercial routes starting early in the morning.

The role requires CDL Class A or B with air-brake endorsement, 1 year of CDL driving or recent military driving, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B with air-brake endorsement required.
• 1 year operating a CDL vehicle or 1 year military driving in last 7 years.
• Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to read, write and speak English well enough to interact with the public and complete records.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy-duty trucks and performs pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Collects waste or recyclables from customer locations.
• Backs up with high skill to maneuver near obstacles and tight spaces.
• Follows safety rules, reports incidents to supervisor and completes required paperwork.
• Completes end-of-day documentation and route reports.
