Western States Metal Roofing is seeking a Roll Forming Machine Operator to join our production team. Set up and adjust roll forming equipment, monitor runs for quality, perform routine maintenance, and report safety concerns.

The role requires 2+ years in metal fabrication, familiarity with RF scanners/WMS, and the ability to read blueprints. Full-time position with occasional overtime outdoors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, or operating Roll forming machinery.
• Familiarity with RF scanners/WMS and basic paperwork.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust roll forming equipment.
• Monitor production runs to ensure specifications.
• Inspect finished parts using precision tools.
• Operate sit‑down and stand‑up forklifts to move goods between areas.
• Load and unload heavy steel coils or metal strips using cranes, hoists, or forklifts.
• Verify, label, scan, and track inventory using RF scanners and/or a warehouse management system (WMS).
• Coordinate material flow with Shipping/Receiving, Warehouse, and Production teams.
• Report hazards, equipment defects, or material issues to supervision.
